Richmond Digital Marketing Forum

This will be my third year attending the Richmond Digital Marketing Forum at The Grove Hotel, a super-well organised industry event.

Aimed at those in the digital space, I find this event to be a great balance of learning, discussions and introductions to suppliers. Its a long day, so its worth getting a good sleep the day before!

  • There is generally a broad range of attendees, which makes this a highlight for me. We can easily sit in our silos and speak to those within our industry. This event offers a chance to understand the issues and questions others are facing. More often than not, they tend to be relative to your own.

  • You get to have discussions about new stuff. This year, I’m looking forward to discussions on areas such as GA4, analytics, eCommerce and the Metaverse. These are all new tools and channels we face and it will be wonderful to speak to others about how they are using them, preparing and any issues they’re finding.

  • Networking got lost over COVID. It makes a huge difference being able to have a less formal, face to face, discussion with people. Building up a professional network is hugely important.

  • It’s a day out of the office and chance to focus on personal learning and growth within your role and industry. Something most of us make little time for.

If you’re interested, you can find out more about event over on their website. If you’re on the list, I hope to see you there!
